Apps built around your process

Mobile and web applications that digitize how your company already works, instead of forcing you to reshape your operation to fit a generic product.

DIRECT ANSWER

A custom application makes sense when the process you want to digitize is specific to your company and no commercial product covers it without distorting your operation. BITFX builds mobile apps (iOS and Android) and enterprise web applications, starting at a 5% deposit and with a 12-month warranty on everything delivered.

What we build

Fifteen years of projects taught us one rule: the app is not the goal, it is the means. What we deliver almost always falls into one of these categories:

  • Field operations apps — captures, checklists, photo evidence and signatures for teams working away from the office, with offline operation and later synchronization.
  • Customer-facing apps — statements, orders, appointments, tracking and notifications, connected to the systems that already run your business.
  • Internal web applications — browser-based tools for departments that currently live in shared spreadsheets and email threads.
  • Supplier and partner portals — controlled access to your operational data for third parties, with roles and an audit trail.

How an app project runs

1. Process discovery

Before designing screens we map the real process: who executes it, how often, what decisions they make and what information they need in the moment. Most failed apps are designed around the process someone believes exists, not the one that actually happens.

2. Scope prioritized in three tiers

We classify every feature as essential to operate, important, or nice to have. That enables a genuinely useful first delivery in weeks rather than months, and documents the later phases from the start.

3. Staged delivery

Each stage produces an installable build you can test with real users. Changes enter the following stage with their estimated impact visible, not as last-minute surprises.

4. Publication, warranty and evolution

We publish under your accounts, hand over code and documentation, and provide a 12-month warranty. From there the app moves into continuous improvement cycles.

When a custom app is NOT the answer

If a commercial product covers 80% or more of your process without forcing you to redesign your operation, you are better off starting there. We say so during discovery, before quoting.

What it connects to

An isolated app just creates one more island of data. Ours integrate with ERPs, CRMs, Mexican CFDI e-invoicing, payment gateways, WhatsApp Business and — where it makes sense — with the AI Brain, so the data your field team captures feeds the answers and alerts your leadership receives.

Frequently asked questions

Custom applications: common questions

How much does it cost to develop a mobile app in Mexico?

In 2026 the typical range runs from MXN $150,000 to $1,500,000 (roughly USD $8,000 to $80,000) depending on screens, integrations and user volume. Cross-platform development cuts cost by up to 30% versus building iOS and Android separately, and it is the right call for most mid-sized companies.

Do you build native or cross-platform?

Both. We choose per case: cross-platform when the app is business logic shared across operating systems; native when the project depends on hardware, graphics performance or device-specific features. The recommendation comes out of discovery, not out of a preference of ours.

Who owns the application's source code?

You do. We hand over the repository and documentation at the close of each stage. We do not work under arrangements that lock a client to the vendor to move their own software.

Do you publish to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. We prepare store listings, assets and the review process for both, publishing under your company's developer accounts so ownership is yours from day one.
